What’s the minimum age required to enter?
To attend concerts unsupervised by an adult you have to be at least 16 years old. If you’re younger, another adult of at least 18 years ago needs to be accompanied. During the night programming, the minimum age to enter Rotown is 18.
Who should I contact when I lost something at Rotown?
If you lose something during a concert or dance event, please contact Rotown on the following number: 010 – 436 26 69. You can also pay a visit during opening hours.
How can I make reservations for the restaurant?
Rotown’s restaurant opens daily from 12.00 pm to 9.30 pm for lunch, snacks and dinner. You can make reservations online or by phone: 010 – 436 26 69. For larger groups (from up to 15 people), Rotown has assembled special food menus. To make a reservation for a larger group, contact Marieke: Marieke[at]rotown.nl
Where can I park?
In Rotterdam’s city centre you have to pay a parking fee. At various spots at the Nieuwe Binnenweg, you can pay with pin, credit card or parking apps. There are several parking garages nearby, namely Westblaak (Westblaak 88 (ingang Hartmanstraat) and Museumpark (Museumpark 32).
Can I reach Rotown easily with public transport?
Very easily, in fact. From Rotterdam Centraal it’s about a 10-minute walk to Rotown.
Train: Step off at ‘Rotterdam Centraal’ Station.
Tram: Take tram line 4 to Marconiplein from Rotterdam Central Station and step off at ‘Eendrachtsplein’. Take a right turn to Nieuwe Binnenweg, and you’ll find Rotown at the corner of 19.
Metro: From Rotterdam Central station, step off at ‘Eendrachtsplein’. Go to the Nieuwe Binnenweg and you’ll find Rotown on your right at number 19.

Are there seats available at Rotown during shows?
When there’s an event at Rotown, there are no seats. If you’re in some way impaired to stand for a prolonged amount of time, we can place a stool for you. You can inquire about options for disabled visitors at info[at]rotown.nl
Can I access Rotown with my wheelchair?
Rotown is attainable for impaired and/or disabled people. There’s a wheelchair-accessible restroom present.
What time do concerts begin at Rotown?
From Monday to Thursday, doors are at 8pm and concerts start at 8.30 pm. From Friday to Sunday, doors are at 9pm, and showtime at 9.30 pm. Always check in advance at the concert page for possible tweaks in the schedule.
When do concerts begin at external locations?
Light Vessel V11 always opens its doors at 9pm, and the show starts at 9.30 pm. The Maassilo doors are at 8pm. Doors and showtimes may vary per event at the Rotterdamse Schouwburg (Theater) and Annabel. Always check the site in advance before you leave for possible changes.
Do you sell ear protection at Rotown?
We fully support the I Love My Ears-campaign, because we intend to enjoy live music for a very long time. So be smart and bring your earplugs. If you forgot them, you can purchase a new pair for €3 at the machine next to the wardrobe.
Can I bring my camera to Rotown?
Visitors are allowed to bring a small 35mm camera at most. Only commissioned press photographers are allowed to bring professional photography-gear. Unlicensed recording gear or cameras with detachable lenses are not permitted.
Are there job vacancies in Rotown at the moment?
Rotown is currently not looking for new applicants. You can however, apply as a volunteer. The Rotown Crew-pagina is the place for vacancies as they occur.
Are there places where I can present my ideas?
You can never have enough good ideas. If you have a cool concept for a club night for instance, or maybe a benefit event, or organise something else, well, you can pitch it at info[at]rotown.nl. If we like what we hear, we’ll ask you to take a seat with us to flesh things out, and make it a reality.
