Swedish producer/musician Hannes Norrvide has been performing and recording under the Lust For Youth-moniker for over six years, drawing heavily from synth pop legends Pet Shop Boys and the influential EBM-movement that spawned the likes of Clock DVA.  At Gothenburg venue Utmarken, Norrvide started honing his skills through avid experimentation with drum machines and synthesizers. Two years later, Solar Flare embraces a dark, morose undercurrent, with glimmering synth melodies veiled behind curtains contorted noise.

These days, Lust For Youth embraces a more vibrant brand of synth pop, epitomized by 2014 masterpiece International, which features Iceage’s Elias Rønnenfelt as a guest vocalist. Instead of tinkering on records by himself, Norrvide has refurbished Lust For Youth as a full-fledged band, with producer Malthe Fischer and musician Loke Rahbek joining the fold. Both collaborators are involved with the writing process as well as the live shows.
