Throw Led Zeppelin, Alice Cooper and Black Sabbath in the blender, and you’ll get The Terrorsaurs. This instrumental rock ‘n’ roll monstrosity from Birmingham, England has been skulking the globe for a number of years. The big chief in the house is King Fink, bass player extraordinaire, and – although the band makes full instrumental music – self-confessed ‘professional screamer’. Guitarist El Demonio and dreaded drummer Big J complete this primeval fellowship.

The trio signed to renowned Californian label Wild Records in 2014. The experts know: if you’re signed there, you’re in the rock ‘n’ roll Church of Worship. The Terrorsaurs’ unruly mix of garage, surf and rock make them one of the more entertaining bands around. In November, they will release their third long player, Swamp Beat. In its own right, this album encompasses the versatility of The Terrorsaurs well.

Amsterdam-based rockers Lil Sal ‘& The Wildtones believe in the power of nostalgia. This bunch celebrates its three-year existence and in that time span, they emerged as one of the biggest boys in the Dutch rockabilly scene. In their own words, the band maintains its originality by making an interesting mix between all sorts of genres. Last year, Lil ‘Sal and his companions became the first Dutch band ever to be signed at the aforementioned Wild Records, which means their debut album is imminent.
