Tonyz is again in Rotown with our SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE, ready to deliver another exciting night of powerful and electrifying tracks of rock extravaganza! On the 12th of July, three local bands will set the stage on fire. Each one will unleash their own take on SUSPICIOUS PACKAGE, whether it’s a fiery original or an unexpected jam.

The Cradles – psychedelic indie rock
Cheapo Cheapo – sensual garage rock
Loveth Besamoh – post punk and afro-psychedelica

The Cradles: From bonding over a love for music in the aisles of their small-town teenage supermarket job, a psychedelic indie rock band called The Cradles emerged. The sound of the band is not easy to pin down in one genre. Influences from all over the world and all throughout music history are worn on the musical sleeve of the band, blending together into the songs they write about growing older in this muzzy, fuzzy place we all call our home. From the small daily moments of happiness to the larger than life melancholies, all is poetised by The Cradles, under a comforting warmth of wandering guitars and tight grooves.

Loveth Besamoh: Cameroonian producer and songwriter Loveth Besamoh shifts and bends genres to create his eclectic brand of psych music. Music that transcends cultures and continents to express the inner workings of the producer. Loveth is backed live by his eclectic live band.

Cheapo Cheapo: Cheapo Cheapo is a garage rock band from Rotterdam. Born from a shared love for 60’s garage rock, sex, punk and just the right amount of chest hair, the band plays their music with utmost conviction. The four Rotterdammers are an explosion of energy, captivating their audience. Their music strikes deep and stimulates that one muscle you didn’t even know existed anymore.

Tonyz is an art and music collective born in the summer of 2023 in Rotterdam as a non-profit cultural organization run voluntarily. We curate multidisciplinary art events from concerts and club night to playful workshops and more. The collective aims to be a hub for any category of creatives to join together and co-create. By engaging and focusing on local artists, we wish to offer a stage to anyone needing a platform where their art and music can truly resonate with them and our community.
